Born 1975 in Ekenäs Finland, Heidi currently lives in New York City.
She received her BA (Hons) Degree in Critical Fine Art Practice from Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design, London, and went on to a MA History Degree in South East Asian Art at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
In addition to Conceptual Art Heidi has worked extensively within the commercial arts field, focusing on illustration and site-specific installations.
These include projects for Sir Elton John, Chanel, Absolut Vodka, Swarovski, J. Maskerey SkinJewellery, Phyllis Newman Interiors, Marimekko, Decor and More, Sendin y Asociados and Twentieth Century Fox.
Heidi's work has been featured in Vogue UK, FJORDS magazine (Sweden/ Norway), Elle Deco ES, Elle Decoration UK, Elle UK, Architectural Digest, Frame, I.D. magazine, Interview magazine, Crystallized, Dazed and Confused, Marie Claire, Hello!, among others.
Her work has been awarded by the Arts Council of Finland, The Finnish Cultural Institute UK, Victoria Stiftelsen, Visuelt Awards Norway and Svenska Kulturfonden.
