Born in Ekenäs Finland, Heidi currently lives in New York City.
She received her Foundation and BA (Hons) Degrees in Critical Fine Art Practice from Central Saint Martins, London UK. She has a Diploma in Fine Arts from Kanneljärven Opiston taidelinja in Finland.
Heidi's work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions in Europe and the United States, including at the Kuntsi Museum of Modern Art, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, St. Petersburg Metro Museum, Mana Contemporary Art Center and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Solo exhibitions include United Nation's Albano Building, L'Space Gallery Chelsea New York, NYTM/ Consulate of Finland, Espacio Valverde, Madrid Spain.
Heidi's work is included in Lars Göran Johnsson's Collection at the Turku Art Museum in Finland and in Jan-Olof Mallander's Collection of Contemporary Art.
In 2024 she received the American-Scandinavian Foundation's Cultural Award in New York.In addition to Fine art Heidi has worked extensively within the Commercial arts field, ranging from illustration to site-specific installations. These include projects for Sir Elton John, Chanel, MAC Cosmetics, Hasbro, Scholastic Corporation, Klutz, Absolut Vodka, Swarovski, J. Maskerey SkinJewellery, Marimekko, Decor and More, Victoria's Secret, The Hudson's Bay, Sendin y Asociados, Twentieth Century Fox.
Heidi's work has been featured in publications ranging from Artnet, Vogue UK, FJORDS magazine, Elle Deco ES, Elle Decoration UK, Elle UK, Architectural Digest, Frame, I.D. magazine, Interview magazine, Crystallized, Dazed and Confused, Marie Claire to Hello and Hola!.
She was featured as Episode #1 in documentary series "Adress: New York", Kaleido Productions/ YleFEM, Finland.
