Blooms
The Blooms textile collages consist of hundreds of floral embroideries from across the World brought together to flourish.
The vintage handiworks have been collected from flea markets, charity shops and received as donations. They’re the labour of a myriad of anonymous and skillful women (and men) from across the World. I feel that these creations and their physical memory should be honored and appreciated also today.
My intention is to bring the flowers back to life and give them a new existence in the contemporary world.
